Athanasia Skaltsa

Athanasia has been a member of the team with Barbayannis Lawyers since early 2024. Athanasia’s experience has provided her with a strong foundation in legal practice and client services.

Athanasia holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Diploma of Commerce completed at Deakin University, and a Diploma in Languages (Advanced Greek Studies) completed at La Trobe University. This multidisciplinary academic background has equipped Athanasia with strong analytical and communication skills, which she applies daily to achieve practical and effective outcomes for her clients. Athanasia is fluent in the Greek language affording her the ability to assist Greek-speaking clients navigate through complex legal matters with confidence and clarity. Athanasia is also completing her NAATI certified accreditation, as a fully qualified translator between the English language and the Greek language.

 Athanasia practises predominantly in the area of Wills and Estates, including estate planning, the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, and Estate Administration. Athanasia also assists clients in family law matters, including divorce proceedings.
