Melissa Pandeli

Melissa has worked exclusively in the area of family and de facto relationship law since 2001. She is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and became a partner of Barbayannis Lawyers in 2014. Melissa is highly experienced and well regarded. She is valued in her role on the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers. She has a special interest in advocating for the best interests of children in parenting disputes. She has extensive experience in advocacy, court procedure and in a broad range of complex financial, child support and parenting matters.

Melissa believes it is imperative that lawyers are sensitive to family dynamics and that children are protected and their interests are properly represented. She aims to handle her clients’ matters in a cost-effective and timely manner whilst ensuring their goals and objectives are met.

Melissa was recognised as a Recommended Parenting and Children's Matters Lawyer in the Doyles Guide for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and Leading Lawyer in this category for 2024.
