Katherine Antonopoulos

Katherine is an Accredited Family Law Specialist, and has practiced exclusively in family law since joining Barbayannis Lawyers in 2011.

Katherine combines a thorough understanding of the law with a practical and realistic approach to resolve even the most intractable family law disputes. Her passion in the industry has given her experience in all aspect of Family Law matters, including an in-depth knowledge of complex parenting matters, property matters and spousal maintenance. Katherine also has experience in advocacy and has obtained many favourable judgements for her clients in both parenting and property matters.

Katherine is understanding to the needs of her clients and delivers practical and cost effective solutions to her clients. She has a special interest in complex parenting matters, which she handles in a compassionate, empathetic and efficient manner.

Katherine has a keen interest in promoting community access to legal services and also believes in giving back to the wider community.  She has undertaken Legal Aid work and has previously volunteered for Victoria Legal Aid in their criminal division.
